Sdiptech's business model is based on acquiring companies that contribute to more sustainable, safe and efficient societies. Our responsibility as long-term owners is to develop these great companies so that their products and services can reach more markets and gain more customers. Climate-related investments, both acquisitions and business development, are thus the core of our business. In connection with us accelerating our sustainability work in 2020, we have established a council and a person in charge, who will work with this and how we as a Group can become even more sustainable.

The Sustainability Council will consist of employees with different positions and competencies who represent all parts of the Group, which enables well-developed strategies at the same time as decisions can be kept quick.

“The Sustainability Council is a forum where we discuss various issues and anchor decisions that permeate the entire organization. In addition to focusing on the sustainability of the companies we invest in, we also want to live as we learn and become more sustainable within Sdiptech. This is something we will spend a lot of time on in the future. In 2020, the focus will be on preparing climate accounts within each ESG perspective for all of our 34 business units, evaluating our risk analysis with sustainability aspects, establishing stakeholder dialogues and completing our materiality analysis”, says My Lundberg, Sustainability & IR Manager at Sdiptech.
