This has created worldwide problems, such as climate change, water stress, lack of resources and losses in biodiversity.
Sdiptech has a natural role to contribute development by investing in and developing companies that on different ways contribute tomore sustainable, efficient and safe societies. In addition to Water & Sanitation and Power & Energy, we therefore have has chosen to add Bioeconomy and Waste Management to the business area.
Neglected investments and increasing water scarcity characterize the water segment. Combine this with rising needs for water treatment and consumption across all geographies, and the demand for niche solutions are growing in the long-term. Sdiptech's companies offer niche products and services for wastewater treatment, water systems, and water purification.
We must be able to manage the earth's resources to meet thesocietal challenges of the future. It consists of the parts of the economy thatwe use renewable biological resources, such as forests, crops, fish, animalsand microorganisms to produce food, materials and energy.
As both the population and the use of resources increase,so does the need for responsible waste management. Waste needs to be reduced by increasing resource efficiency, after which as much waste as possible needs to be come part of a cycle.
In the energy segment, there are good growth opportunities as a direct consequence of the power shortage impeding regional development in parts of Europe, as well as an effect of the increase in digitization, automation and electrification in society. In this segment, our companies offer niche products and services for power supply, electrical automation and temporary electricity.

Vattensegmentet kännetecknas av tilltagande vattenbrist, ökande vattenkonsumtion och förnyade krav på vattenrening. Sdiptechs verksamheter erbjuder nischprodukter och tjänster för avloppsrening, vattensystem och vattenrening.
Bioekonomi handlar i grunden om att vi måste kunna hantera jordens ändliga resurser för att klara framtidens samhällsutmaningar. Det består av de delar av ekonomin som använder förnybara biologiska resurser, så som skog, grödor, fisk, djur och mikroorganismer för att producera mat, material och energi.
När såväl befolkningen som resursanvändningen ökar, gör så även behovet för ansvarsfull avfallshantering. Först och främst behöver avfallet minskasgenom att öka resurseffektiviteten, därefter behöver så mycket avfall som möjligt bli en del av ett kretslopp.
Inom energisegmentet finns det utmärkta tillväxtmöjligheter som en direkt följd av kraftbristen som hindrar regional utveckling i delar av Europa. Tillväxten drivs också av den ständigt ökande digitalisering, automatisering och elektrifiering som pågår i samhället. Inom segmentet erbjuder Sdiptechs företag nischprodukter och tjänster för kraftförsörjning, elektrisk automatisering och tillfällig el.
